Hi, NI railways have delay repay now, I know that and can find the T&Cs for mLink tickets, but none for iLink. I was delayed by approx. 30 minutes (I think) on a journey today, how would I go about claiming? Also I used the iLink ticket on the coach from Belfast to Giants Causeway and a couple of local buses in the area. Would this affect the claim? My journey was from Coleraine to Botanic. How would it be calculated?

I would just apply for it and see what happens, perhaps attach a covering letter explaining the situation as the form includes no option for an iLink. I see no reason to include the fact you used the card on the bus as this is immaterial to your claim.

Perhaps you could phone them on 02890 666 630 if you'd like to ask, their contact centre are usually very helpful. I have always found Translink (NI Railways) a very pleasant, easy to deal with company, so I'd say you should have no issues provided you were indeed delayed by 30+ minutes.

Thanks, I have indeed found their contact centre helpful just a few days ago when planning my trip around Northern Ireland and have found them easy to deal with in the past. I was delayed by pretty much exactly 30 minutes so it will probably hinge on whether it was indeed exactly 30 or whether their time differs from mine. That said I think I'll drop them a line. Would I typically just include my iLink card number? I want to keep the card should I make a further trip to Northern Ireland (I already had it when I went over there, having used it on a previous trip and simply having topped it up at Botanic station in the morning).
