I wonder if someone could please tell me what settings I should use to take photos with our Nikon D60 at night. I am hoping to go down to Poole station tonight and get some pics of the stone train coming through about 5.40pm. The station is quite well lit. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Guess it's a bit late now but I assume said train does not stop?

High ISO number, and try and use a fixed 35mm or 50mm lens with a wide open aperture (f1.8 or similar).
