Night Rivieria cabin pricing glitch ?

Looked at Sleeper berth prices for end of April on mixing desk (bookings opened today), noticed prices at lowest tier available for both single and twin berth cabins. Looked about hour later they had jumped up in price, then looked again recently they'd gone back down again ??
What could cause this - single cabins for example are normally all priced at the same rate then increase in price closer to date of travel.

Possibly someone had one in their basket, but didn’t buy, so it knocked the price up due to they system thinking there were less berths left while it was in there, then went back down again after it got knocked out of the basket.

Yes would make sense for normal ticket quotas but there is only 16 single cabins on that service so did dummy booking and all still available priced at lowest tier (£42.50) at that time.
