Night Riviera Delays 02 May

Does anyone know why the Night Riviera was so delayed last night as it lost time due to long over stops at Exeter, Swindon and Reading, finally arriving 86 minutes late.

Reports of smoke coming from the loco. Extended stops at Exeter, Swindon at Reading to investigate.

Last nights 1A50 Up Sleepers extended stop at Exeter was due to having to Run Round to go via Exeter Central and Yeovil, also requested for it to call at Westbury due to some stranded customers any further delays I am have no info on.

Something to do with cows on the line near Yeovil I believe.
