Night Riveria Sleeper berth pricing

The price for tommorow night (Good Friday) from Paddington to Penzance for a Solo cabin supplement is £199 and £149 each in a twin cabin. Are GWR testing the market to see if people will pay higher prices like it's Scottish cousin at peak periods ? Certainly seems to be plenty of availability currently.

On the other hand, I'm surprised they run the sleeper on Bank Holidays.

The availability is higher than that seen in previous years so could assume the higher prices has surpressed demand ?The Cornish sleeper runs Sunday - Friday nights regardless of bank hols (apart from between 27th Dec and New Year)

Yes, I was going to say, remaining availability will be a function of both demand and price. If you set the price above nearly everybody's reservation price, you can have a lot of empty berths in a period of peak demand.

I hope that's the outcome, because if they're rational, they'll react to that by releasing some slightly cheaper fares next Easter!
