Derby (Skylink - true 24-hour service) plus others (all Trent-Barton) operating until 0300 on Fri/Sat and Sat/Sun

And of course this automatically gives Loughborough and Leicester a true 24-hour service as well.
Wellglade's Kinchbus subsidiary also operates the Loughborough Town Centre - University Sprint service until 04:35 during University term time six days a week.

And on the subject of Leeds route 1 this does just happen to go past both the universities and areas where thousands of students live..

Leeds isn't short of students!

Neither is Birmingham but it is not exactly night bus city. I remember asking on a forum years ago (maybe here) why Birmingham didn't have night buses and the response was that the students didn't need to travel too far from the city centre compared to Manchester.

Just to clarify, the Derby-Leicester Skylink is itself operated by Kinchbus (not only the Loughborough Uni 'Sprint').

Guildford now has a night bus service two nights a week. Must be the smallest town.

The Arriva number 27 has a few overnight runs on Thursday and Saturday mornings during University term times.

It goes from town through the main campus and on to the two off campus University housing locations. I can see it being rather popular.

I think the University subsidizes the route as students get either free or reduced price passes depending on which halls of residence they live in.
