When I used to use WAGN to/from Cambridge, it was We Are Going Nowhere.

Not a TOC, but one I've always liked is that for the RCTS (Railway Correspondence & Travel Society) - Royal Corps of Train Spotters.

And the LCGB was the Little Club for Good Boys . . .

Am I the only one that thinks almost all of these names are childish and pretty unfunny and when used genuinely in a post or conversation they just make the user seem a bit silly?

Everyone else appears to take life for what it is and has a sense of humour.
