I've been doing some late night sifting through the fares in NFM22 and have noticed that fares from Tyneside to Lancaster have been changed from 'Any Permitted' to 'Via Carlisle' - are they allowed to do this? I always thought the routeing on 'any permitted' tickets was protected.
I think I know with the history of the routeing guide why this has been the case, but how were they able to do it?
