Does anyone know or been told when the next southern trainee course starts. I was told they would like me on the April course but wondered what date this would be. I have to be relaxed in current job so would love to know the dates.
I don't know what the dates were in April but I was told there's a course in April and the next one after that COULD be June/July.

Have you heard anymore about the June course or a starting date? I passed my medical a couple of weeks ago but have heard nothing. Just wondering where I sit with a likely start date?

Hi andy, the June course is full, I was offered a course in August but I'm on holiday in October so probably won't be able to start until November
Dazzayid, Thanks for the insight. Did recruitment tell you this or did you pick it up from colleagues in Southern? I assume if August was offered then you've spoken to HR? I'm an outside applicant so I don't know if it's worth giving them a call so see if I can get an update as I've heard nothing? I'm obviously prepared to wait as long as it takes but it'd be good to know a rough date so that I can plan.

I got an email recent saying they were full until June.
Monopolies, I hope you don't mind me asking but, assuming you are also waiting for a trainee driver post, how recently did you have you're medical? Did they offer another date? Just trying to gauge where I sit in it all and whether I'll have just a few months to wait, or months and months. Thanks

m25, I passed my medical back in April for Southern. Since then I understand there was a course in April and June. The next one is August. I thought I might get on that one, but having spoken to them last week I'm not on that one either. I've been told the next courses are planned for October then December.

HI Andy, thanks for the reply. I was told at the DM interview that there were courses in April and June, but I hadn't had the medical then. I think I may have missed the August course now...... I'll give HR a few weeks, and then contact them regading future course dates.

m25, Which depot have you applied for? I assume it's somewhere near the M25?
