Routeing guide question if you could provide the answer?
Would the above ticket (anytime return) be valid for a return trip via Liverpool?
Outwards it would be via Warrington and Crewe but I would obviously like to return via Liverpool if possible?

As far as I can tell, it is not valid via Liverpool, only direct via Warrington or via Manchester and Wilmslow. You can always ask staff whether you are (nevertheless) permitted to travel via Liverpool
