This might be of interest to some on here - the currently non-electrified stabling sidings at the northern end of Newton Aycliffe (Merchant Park) Depot, Hitachi's main works in the UK - are getting wired up. A pair of booms have gone up over the roads, with conductors presumably due to follow shortly.
