Newport (South Wales) redevelopment

Some of you may have heard about it some might not have, but newport station is being redeveloped into a bigger and badder looking item of train station engi..

I lost the point,
Basically Newport Station has started going under it's amazing new transformation!

Apparently it's going to look like this:

Nope
got removed as part of the redevelopment.

Nice design, but... The BBC report says it'll all be done and finished within 11 months. I'll believe it when I see it...

 

[Techniquest]

It is progressing well so far and not booked to be finished until June 2010. I reckon it'll be done by then.

Hadn't seen the proposed design until now, looks damn funky!
