Newport SIMS scrap drags

Hi, given several types of train are being scrapped now and over the next few years, would it be easier to just list the scrap drags in one dedicated thread and maybe copy the link to this thread in the other individual class threads?

Incidentally, with this only being a 4-day week south of Hadrian's Wall, is anything going for scrap this week?

This thread could include light loco moves to collect scrap trains as well.

There was a 455 move to Newport yesterday. It’s discussed in the SWR withdrawals thread.

I think a master thread just about Newport (no longer Sims by the way) wouldn’t really work - people will usually want to discuss withdrawals in a dedicated thread for a specific class, because the moves are nearly always bound up with replacement fleet introduction, and/or timetabling and crew training, maintenance cycles, defects etc etc; and all that stuff‘s still going to fit best in its own discussion.

I’d quite like to see it in one thread, if possible, as the moves quite often go through Bristol.
