Newport area on Thursday

Hi guys.
Been out of the loop for the last 12 Years! but before that was a very keen spotter.
Looking at going to the Newport area on Thursday particulary near Bishton to take some photos.
Can anyone please tell me what the freight levels are like these Days please and does any trains still run into the steel works at Llanwern.
If so which way do they run East/west to the works?
Sorry for so many questions .

There are a few freight workings around that area, mostly steel and a few coal trains i know last saturday i saw 1 of the new freightliner class 70's passing while i was on a hst heading to London
