Im paying a visit to Newcastle in a few weeks. I wanted to know whats the best platforms to be on, while Im there.

Platforms 2 and 3 north and south are the best ones to stand and get shots. Just remember it has automatic barriers now and the platform tickets there only give you 45 minutes but a visitors badge from the station management centre will give you unlimited time.

If you have time, I'd reccommend going to the Castle Keep, 15 minutes walk around the corner, and you get some good shots from the top. Should be open, the entrance fee is small as well.
