Newbie possible signaller

hi all,

I’ve just sent off my application and cv for a grade 2 job up here in Yorkshire. What I can’t find out is the pay while under training and what the shifts are likely to be at a grade 2 box. Can anyone help please? I’m concerned the training pay may not be enough until I’m qualified.

Shifts are dependent on the box and can very wildly.... what box is it??

As for training pay, it will be at a grade 1 salary for your training (1 grade below your full pay). So 25k in training until you pass out on your box. Then your pay will go up.....

Thanks. I’ve applied for Garsdale box which I know is relatively quiet but perfect location for me.
