Does anybody know what the 66 on the front from Newcastle to Carlisle that wasn't 66417 was? I only became aware of the triple headed nature of the train over this leg upon arrival at Newcastle when they were taking the 66s off.
It certainly was a grand day out, even considering the unsociably early start time from Birmingham!
