Newark Castle to Sheffield via Nottingham 18/5/2015

Hello

I need to travel on the 13:01 from Newark Castle to Sheffield tomorrow with a break of journey in Nottingham. I saw that there is a cheap advance fare available for the Newark to Chesterfield part of the journey but they do not permit a break of journey in Nottingham.

I would be grateful for any advice, it seems the only direct ticket available is for travel via Doncaster. I don't have any railcards.

I have found a fare for £17.70

Anytime Day Singles

Newark Castle to Langley Mill £7.90
Langley Mill to Sheffield £9.80

Would appreciate confirmation this is the cheapest way to make the journey or other suggestions

Try a Barnetby to Nottingham return for £13.80.

Make sure you get the any permitted route which allows routing via Lincoln or Sheffield.
Start short at Newark, do what you need / want in Nottingham and then stop short in Sheffield.
