New Trains = New Opportunities?

A couple of Train Operating Companies are developing new trains to run their services such as Transpennie Express, Merseyrail, Northern, etc.

Does anyone think that this may open up new job opportunities for Train Driver positions whether it be for Trainee or Experienced drivers?

It isn't new stock that requires extra staff, it's new or additional services. If the same number of trains will run with the new stock as the old, then no it won't. But if they also increase the number of overall services, they will
