what gives for the new track panels awaiting installation that have been deposited track side near Armley.
Several sets of points and plain track

Probably awaiting installation as part of network rails endlessly ongoing repair/upgrade to the national infrastructure. :rolleyes: Give it a few weeks and they'll be installed.

It’s what Leeds is getting as it’s full share of the government’s Integrated Rail Plan. Hope you enjoy the levelling up.

Seems since the recent works the majority of departures from the lower numbered platforms use the up and down Harrogate and the junction at Armley to cross back onto the Shipley lines so presuming they might be speeding up the cross over there? Not massively familiar with the area mind and could well be talking bubbles
