My card has arrived today. User guide says I can buy tickets online and download them onto my card at a station using ticket machine. Do I have to buy ticket through SWT website or another one such as Train line or Red Spotted Hanky?

You have to buy them through the SWT website, at one of their TVMs (but only those outside Zones 1-6!)

And you can now load tickets onto most ITSO cards at SWT TVM's. Until recently it had to be the SWT Smart card.

I got my new card a couple weeks ago and loaded on my renewed annual season and the Gold record card has duly arrived in the post.

One query. I tried buying a day return with it the other day, but the Gold Card option was greyed out despite virtually every other type of railcard being available to select. Seems a bit bonkers.

What journey were you trying to buy and for what time?

I have an itso bus card. Never used though registered with the bus company (go ahead).

Would I see any benefit on as hoc trips on swt? Other than having plastic vs paper? I have a network railcard
