New St delays

More delays for New St for an 'incident' just out of Lawley.

Anyone any news on this?

Glad I'm not at work today! Get a feeling it's somewhere near the 'A' http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&s...1513,-1.870959&spn=0.007749,0.022745&t=h&z=16 as trains booked down Camp Hill are going through Church Road, plus it's affecting trains through Water Orton and Adderley Park.

Reading a man is threatening to blow himself up. Couldn't of picked a better place though, blocking Camp Hill, Water Orton and Adderley Park. :roll:

I've got a friend on 1M55 (13:09 carlisle to new st) who says its going to be divirted and be "SSO" at COV.
A: whats an SSO?
B: what a loony :/
I feel sorry for any TOC staff working on stations affected, they always seem to get the blame for any delay

What a weekend first theres a track problem in the wolverhampton area then 43089 hits to kids at a crossing, now this!

Was on the 13.18 XC from Newcastle bound to Reading. Announcemnt shortly after we left about a major incident taking place at Birmingham. After leaving Durham it was announced that if said incident was not resolved the service would terminate at Birmingham. Dont know what happened after Darlington as I was travelling to Shildon for a gander at NRM Locomotion
