New service in Germany

Interesting to see a new commercial passenger service being started in Germany between Koln and Hamburg.

Michael Schabas was one of the guys who set up GB Railways, and brought us Anglia, Hull Trains, GB Railfreight, etc.

That sort of liberalisation's become more common in Germany since the advent of the EU Open Access Directive. Many services formerly operated by DB Regio have since been contracted out to other companies.

DB's Metropolitan service didn't last long on that route, can't see this coming to much
