New Rover Ticket Question ?

If a TOC wanted to set up a new rover ticket for a few stations on a line which it was the soul TOC running services on that line.

How flexible could it be with it pricing or are there rules saying it could not be lower say then any day return between the stations it was covering ?

I could be wrong, but I believe if they are the only TOC serving the stations in question they are free to set whatever price they like.

I have no idea about the rules governing how much or little TOCs are allowed to set fares for. However, there are 100s, if not 1000s, of flows where ranger / rovers are cheaper than buying the any of the return options on offer.
