It should be outshopped in the same colour scheme, just freshened up. Hanging onto that livery for nearly 20 years is pretty impressive. It'd look alright with DB schenker branding on it as well...

They should paint 90035 first. It has a mix of pink and white lettering on its EWS livery, instead of red lettering

I'm guessing all the operational ones will be done over the next couple of years, except the three Scotrail ones. Not many to do really, 020,026,028,035 and 039 I think.

No no. You misunderstand me. I'm on about 90034's return to service. I was questioning whether it would be for UK use, because I've heard not, along with 90037.

I'd rather the 90's and 92's were used abroad than not at all. At least then when more wires are up in this country if there is a demand for more electric power they would be able to go more or less straight back into service rather than letting them fall further into disrepair.

60062 is now out on test along with 92001 and 92029.

60024 is currently being repainted so it should be 90036 in the paint shop next.

92001 is now at Dollands Moor ready to be exported.
90036 is now in traffic and 66185 is also in the DB livery.
60024 is also in the DB livery, it should and along with 60001 go out on test sometime soon.

I presume that was last Saturday? It was running light engine to York to haul a charter back to London Kings Cross.

60001 is next for DB colours. Also any news on 67018, 92009, 92017 and 90034 returning to service?

60001 has finally returned to the mainline, completing a test run to Peak Forest and back. It does of course carry DBS Red.

There is also a Class 92 (reports suggesting 92012) in Bulgaria being repainted in DBS Red (probably without yellow ends though)

67018 is currently stored (undergoing repairs) at Crewe IEMD.

67007 is the worst 67 I've seen condition wise - white numbers on the cab front and generally tatty. Looks quite good in a way though.

67007 is the worst 67 I've seen condition wise - white numbers on the cab front and generally tatty. Looks quite good in a way though.

The worst I've seen has to be this heap - 027. And how it ended up on the VSOE god knows (this is DB!).

Only reason I can think of is of course Keith Hellor. Wouldn't have looked so good having your name on an everyday freight loco vs a '125' MPH High Speed Loco.

67017 & 67018 (along with the 5 Chiltern liveried ones) are fitted with the remote door opening & fire protection systems required for push-pull ops, hence why they are regulars on Chiltern.
