how do i download and install new routes, i'm bored of the ones that come with it already, can someone give me a list of websites where i can get them and also how to install. many thanks

uktrainsim is freeware, but has a very slow download rate, and it is advisable to purchase premium membership, if you like it of course. I would highly recommoend this option.

There's also routes available commercially, such as EC Express, available from amazon.com and other similar sites. I haven't tried these myself, but they seem to be rated highly.

Bear in mind that EC Express is for Train Simulator and not Rail Simulator.

Also regards UKTS, Why not kill two birds with one stone so to speak , purchase one of their Excellent Community CD Routes ( there are some Crackers) they cost £4:50 , but includes a months premium membership so you can download till your little hear is content @ high speed ( depending on your own connection speed of course)

As you never stated in your initial post what Sim you used & as there are not that many routes available I think everyone presumed that you had miss posted & were talking about MSTS

Though to be Fair Your title is a bit of a Give away "new rail sim user" ,but saying that I only noticed it now perhaps it would be advisable to put your Thread titles in BLOCK CAPS in future

I have always wondered about that Tom , because I notice some things in Bold type but they are few & far between ( apologies for going off Topic)
