New Platform at Manuel on Bo'ness Railway

Went up to Bo'ness this morning to see the NMT and had noticed 20020 with some wagons unloading some brick for the new platform at Manuel Junction, come the time I had left some of the brick work was already starting to be put up, I think the platform is to be finished around June/July.

I take it that the new station is not connected to the mainline! How will you get to Manual station, if you were starting, by train, from Glasgow or Edinburgh?

I have wanted to visit this railway for some years now but travelling to it is not very straight forward when travelling from Aberdeen as I generally do. However, I visit Glasgow annually in the Spring and was hoping the new station might make it easier for a day out from there!.

It wont be conncected to the mainline. Manuel is next to Whitecross which has a bus service, I do know there is a bus service between Linlithgow station and Bo'ness.
