man, that's a fantastic "at least I'm getting paid for this *&%$, but other than that, why the £€@! am I here?" smile Barrichello has in all those photos.

If you're going to get a Brawn driver to launch a Virgin, um I mean Alstrom, event in Britain then wouldn't you get their BRITISH driver? You would have thought Sir Richard would have had a quick chat with his mate Jenson.

(For people who don't follow Formula 1: Virgin sponsor the Brawn team and 'RB' has taken a keen interest. Their drivers are Berrichello and Brit Jenson Button, who finished 18th out of 20 in the championship last year, but it likely to win it this year with 6 wins of 7 races so far).

Ah, but lets be honest, opening a new traincare depot isn't exactly glamerous now is it? As Button is rather obviously the favoured driver, he gets a free pass from the more demeaning press events.

If this is a "pit stop" approach then do we know exactly what are they doing differently to before?

I had a quick look, and basically they are download a report of the work needed from the train before it arrives, then getting all the parts and equipment out and in the correct places for when the train arrives, leading to faster turn around times.

What makes you say that? Virgin are sponsoring Brawn for this season (we are well into it by now!), but as I understand it they are planning to turn a smaller team into a Virgin team next year.

I meant it could be a possibility of them continuing their sponsorship.
