It's going to be commissioned by VT (Virgin Trains) then placed into warm storage.
At which point there are suggestions EC might nab it to run on London to Glasgow services.

OK then, where to start.
Only two Panto cars as per sets already in use, the other two as far as we have it and as far as we had on spec were for 2 Panto's. The two new coaches are as coaches B,D,E,G & J (no low ends as in C & H)
It is very unlikely they will go to the east coast due to the costs of proving, re signalling, staff training all for 4 sets. Only 3 sets would be used daily as one would have to be kept in depot just in case any went demic.
So training every EC driver, TM and catering crew member for just 3 trains would be time consuming and costly. I remember it took us well over two years for our WC staff.
