New Northern Uniforms

Does anybody know why Northern crews at Lime Street have had new uniforms for the past few months, but nobody at any other depot seems to be wearing them?

It's part of the Northern Electrics branding.

I did wonder that myself, thought maybe it was a trial role out. I prefer the proper uniform myself, looks more professional.

Was a trail to coincide with the 319/Northern Electrics branding at Lime Street but it's been announced (just today ironically) that it won't be rolled out further.
