I have just remembered that just before the 1206 Pullman Lunch service finished about 4 years ago the staff were giving out a newsheet encouraging passengers to write to FGW HQ to try and retain the service.
I was glad to help, but to no avail; until now.
FWIW I thought that having a Pullman Breakfast service on the up train justified retaining the Lunch service on the 1206, the lunch is a little early for me, but much better than not having the service, the staff like to be done and dusted by Exeter.
