Hey people, I am about to start a new Project, Stokton Depot, will be a Locomotive Care centre, with a Shed, highlighted in Red, Washing & Refuelling siding, also in Red. the two other sidings below these on the diagram should be long enough to house at least 3 locos each. two head shunts are included for shunting. Not sure yet as to a finish date, but I'm going to take as much time as I can too make sure everything is just right. Please give any advice if you can of making a small, Depot layout, grubby weathering will be a must, I will be including building Lights, Point motors etc. The main traction on this layout will be Class 57, first on the list will be limited edition 605 from Kernow haven't decided about the Sound just yet, but I aim to get a 57 with every livery, (expect 601s:p) however I will invest in models of a 37, 20, 50 etc later on, not bothered about era modelling so will be a mix of old and new, but will try and aim for Welsh Nameplates and maybe DCC Sound in the future. There will be a stored 60 opposite the Shed and an 08 for shunting. I already have a Hornby Select controller for DCC operation, finally the line which runs the length of the layout at the bottom of the diagram may run onto my main Loft Layout when I start that project in a few years time. Please comment :D
