New DB Freight flow?

Hi,

I noticed on real time trains that for tomorrow and the rest of the week, there is a light loco move from Toton to Handsworth Euro Metals. It starts as 0Z40 and finishes the day as 0Z43

This RTT link is for the yard

I have no idea if this is likely considering DB's sale, but thought I would ask here. If it is the case, it would be interesting seeing a freight train run through snow hill.

Thanks

Pre-existing flow, DB, Advenza etc that has not run in over 6 years. Scrap metal also used to come out of Queens Head sidings opposite. A lot of tidying up and new sleepers has happened in the last 6 to 12 months but some work like that has to be done regardless of use.

DB sale would have nothing to do with it. You dont give up trying to win or retain business just because the company is up for sale.

Ah i see, thank you,

considering it is running the rest of the week unless plans change, is it simply just for driver refresher/training or is there a plan to have trains return their?

Was a bit odd seeing a class 66 at snow hill.

I immagine its for trains to start running again. Too specific for driver training as a destination. There are no paths showing in the December time table change of realtine trains but they can be entered as short term plans.
