I know someone who wishes to travel from Honor Oak Park to London Bridge tomorrow, and after checking NRES is rather confused.

The engineering works section of NRES says that no trains will be running and buses will run instead.

BUT then several websites say trains will be running between Caterham and London Bridge and calling there?!

So which is correct? Any help would be appreciated!

Trains from Tattenham Corner to London Bridge will attach at Purley and then run forward to London Bridge
Trains which normally shuttle between Purley and Tattenham Corner will not run

There are nothbound only services stopping at intermediate stations between Norwood Jn and London Bridge which are half-hourly Caterham - London Bridge services. Going southbound there is nothing fast or slow so presumably the Up lines are open.

Seems like Southern have made a bit of a mess in the gen they've sent to the NRE people, its really not very clear against whats actually happening - it might help if they actually bothered to have a proper service alterations section on their own website like most people manage to do...

The fact it says London Bridge - Caterham services will only run to/from Purley is a bit misleading. What, I believe, will actually happen is the diverted Tattenham service will convey a portion for Caterham, to be detached at Purley. Services from Caterham are given 10 minutes at Purley to await the Tattenham service, which will attach and then proceed all stations to London Bridge via East Croydon and Sydenham.

The southbound trains are going fast from London Bridge to Crystal Palace and then all stops from Norwood Junction. Probably will be the same on Sunday

Selhurst on the Southbound today, Northbound services very busy as can be expected with no London Overground...the lone 377/3 working the 1715 from Tattenham Corner didn't help, must be all Southern could get out.
