Hi,

I'm looking for the best combination of tickets for a weekend day trip for 2 adults:

New Cross Gate [NXG] -> Norwich [NRW]
or New Cross Gate [NXG] -> Wymondham [WMD]

Either the 5th, 6th, 26th or 27th of April.

We're happy to commit to fixed times for the outward journey which would be mid-morning, but require flexibility on for the return journey.

We can go via Colchester or via Stevenage and Cambridge, but I think via Bishop's Stortford would take too long. Don't want the entire journey on a stopper either!

Both passengers have 16-25 Railcards which are loaded onto PAYG Oyster cards. One of the passengers also holds a Network Gold Card valid as far as the south London Terminals.

I've looked at various splits as well as the Anglia Plus One Day Ranger (on NRE) and the best I've come up with so far is taking the Jubilee line to Stratford then starting short on a Tottenham Hale to Norwich SVR, route Not Via London (shortest route) (£26.75 each)

Can anyone do better? Also, if you can manage a crazy discount with a wacky anomaly I'd like to hear via PM, but probably won't use it to avoid a dispute.
