New Colas 70s

Dont know if this has been posted elsewhere but according to another forum at least one new class 70 ( 70812 ) is aboard the Atlantic Sail vessel due to dock Liverpool Seaforth on the 22nd.

70812 now safely ashore and standing close to the entrance to Seaforth dock area. Easily visible from the road.

Just passed by the entrance to Seaforth dock area and noted two Colas class 70 machines. I assume these to be 70811 and 70813 recently unloaded from the Atlantic Star.

You would be correct; 812 is already in service and 814-17 are still the other side of the Atlantic.

Colas have a lot of departmental contracts with NR, so the 70s can often be found on engineers' trains.
