Just passed by the entrance to Seaforth dock area and noted two Colas class 70 machines. I assume these to be 70811 and 70813 recently unloaded from the Atlantic Star.
Colas have a lot of departmental contracts with NR, so the 70s can often be found on engineers' trains.What work will they find? Isn't rail freight taking a bit of a hit with some grant being cut, or did I misread that article?
Four new Colas class 70's at Seaforth this morning, presumably unloaded from the Atlantic Conveyor which was docked there.
