I'm sure it's been discussed before, the seems some logic in the use of the 800 series numbers for a train that can be either electric or electric and diesel powered, there also seems some logic on starting a new series 700 for EMU's as the 300/400 series is getting a tad used up, but what I don't get is the use of the 345 number for the Crossrail units, except for it logically following on from the unbuilt 341/342 units, but then that logic doesn't apply to the numbering of the 395. So, anyone shed anymore logic ?
