Hi, I would like some advice, I am going to buy a new mini DV camcorder to take on holiday plus to take train videos, can anyone recomend any? I would like to be able to download the videos to my pc

Mart as your mate, I recommend a Few things, Don't get a Mini DV unless you love having loads of tapes around.
Make sure it does widescreen
Have at least minimum 20xoptical
Look at www.trustedreviews.com or www.dixons.co.uk , www.pcworld.co.uk , www.dabs.com for differnt camcorders!.

What is it? DVD or Mini DV (as I doubt its HDD).

Mini DV, but it has a USB connection as well.
