Translink has ordered another 100 electric buses, 60 for Belfast and 40 for Ulsterbus

That's on top of the 80 electric and 23 hydrogen buses currently in service in Belfast and the 38 buses coming in 2023 that will fully electrify the Foyle Metro in Derry/Londonderry

I think you mean that the Belfast metro will be fully zero emission rather than Derry. Still good news though !

No, in Derry the Foyle metro service will be fully zero emissions from next summer

Belfast Metro is currently 1/3rd zero emissions, and will improve to 1/2 zero emissions

Are there any routes in Belfast that are already mainly or entirely electric or hydrogen?

There was one route fully served with hydrogen buses in the plans, but I don't live in that part of Belfast and I forgot the route number, so I can't confirm whether this has actually happened.

The electric buses are spread over all the routes, so every route has some electric and some diesel buses on it (except for the hydrogen-only route, that is!)
