New build Chiltern suburban stock

Just to be clear, this isn’t for Speculative suggestions about the fleet, it’s to learn the facts about what actually is happening

Forgive me if this is very clearly already an established thread (didn’t seem to be though), but what do we know so far about Chiltern’s tender for/procurement of new stock to replace the 165s? Any specifications of design, how many, BIMU/TriMU/BEMU?

I don’t mean the recent request for short notice 2024-introduction stock to replace MK3 as discussed elsewhere.
