Does anyone know of an up to date fleetlist for NAT?
It seems odd that Comfort Delgro (the parent company) have not allocated fleet numbers to a fleet of more than 150 buses and coaches. Apologies in advance if there is another thread for this.

They do have fleet numbers but they're totally random!

Despite the current lockdown situation adventure travel have opened their new depot in taff wells just behind the new tfw tram train depot to replace the former Humphreys coaches depot in pontypridd.

Perhaps X7 news should be recorded here - it's been reported in the Stagecoach West/West Country Independents threads.
By the way, on Tuesday afternoon it appeared there was only one bus out, Citaro BN12 EOT.

Do they operate the Snowdon Sherpa? Just about the only sensible use for that name - I'm not sure it really fits elsewhere, you really don't want a bus ride to the shops to be an "adventure", though far too often it is.

Adventure Travel is the new Name. Cardiff Buses are being branded as Adventure Cardiff, Swansea will be Adventure Swansea

The Snowdon Sherpa is operated by Gwynfor Coaches of Llangefni, Anglesey

A definite case of "good brand, wrong place".

That would be a better brand for say a climbing wall or similar indoor "outdoor activity" centre!

Nat Group/Adventure Travel have recently opened their new depot in Taff's Wells at one of the former units used by Rhys Davies logistics next to the new tfw team train depot replacing the former Humphries coaches depot in Pontypridd.

The company has recently introduced their blink app for all the staff across the UK. Whrte we can get service updates a

Major routes are having further increases including the X1 Culverhouse Cross-Pontprennau X8 Thornhill -Cardiff Bay both now running every 30 minutes. Service 102 Glyncoch-Parc Nantgarw is being increased to run every 20 Minutes MON-sat daytime and hourly evening service.

Cardiff local service G1 is now a flexible bus route where passengers can pre book the service to divert to pick them up individually g to the Heath Hospital.

Railink services 901 and 905 are also being increased to match increased tfw rail services.

Finally the new meteorites for the T9 are due to start arriving very shortly

Further changes expected from 13th July.

Presumably the Metrocities for the T9 will be used on "TrawsHafren" (so into Bristol) in the interim period whilst no T9 is operating. There doesn't appear to be any sign of the airport service restarting, although the 905 will provide a link from the railway if anyone does decide to fly from Cardiff.

Hopefully when pubs start reopening I might get some customers on the last 130 from Pontypridd to Blaencwm on a Sunday night like before lockdown.

I've noticed the 102/106/112/404/X38 services around Pontypridd are picking up as is the X7 to Bristol.

DEL853 Enviro 200 is latest bus to be refurbished and the 1st for the yaff wells depot this bus being a transfer from Metroline

Adventure travel have got some service updates and a new service coming from 7th September.

The Cardiff crosscity routes will get new route numbers and extensions.

The X1 will be numbered C1 and get frequency enhancements again as buses are frequently running to capacity now.

The X8 will be renumbered C8 and be extended from Thornhill to Taff Wells via Moy Road Industrial estate where our new depot is and taff wells railway station and be increased to run every 30 minutes.

New service C2 from Tescos rover way in East Cardiff to the city centre (Central stn) and over to Capital retail park via Grangetown and Hadfield Road every 30 mi uses with the route also serving the nat depot and head office in Cardiff bay.

Out of curiosity, what is the current refurb state of the ex metroline enviro200s? I've noticed a few on the pretty long 304 route (looking at the tracking info) and wouldn't fancy more than 10 mins on those horrible plastic urban seats! Also I've noticed some unusual allocations on the 89b with SP56 EBN currently on the tracker, is this the actual vehicle or is it just ticketer machines moved to another vehicle?

We have had 2, 2nd hand enviro 200s to replace the optare solos on that service. As for yhe metroline enviro 200s we got an ex first london enviro 200 at the taff wells depot which is usually on the pontypridd sainsbury's free bus.

I think refurbishments of buses is going slowly due to the current pandemic

Look pretty smart, are they for service or schools?

As far as I know the only 20 plates are the new metrocitys for the T9 service.

Just wondering whether a couple of dockers could be used on the X1 in the morning to aid social distancing? I know they're usually used on school runs but more often than not a Metrocity turns up on the peak X1s instead of a Citaro which really isn't ideal.

I've been the only passenger on the C2 when I've used it (Off-peak)

I agree. Obviously off peak the Citaros cope fine, but I live on the X1 route and they are quite busy in the morning/evening peaks.
