Never the same staff member in Holland & Barrett?

Possibly just my false perception but I have never seen the same person working in H&B on subsequent visits; do they have a high turnover of staff?

I don‘t know about staff turnover, but I don’t use it as it is owned by a sanctioned oligarch. Mikhail Fridman was sanctioned back in 2022.

Surely that would depend on the frequency of visits? If you visit once a month then the odds of your visit lining up with someone else's shift patters to allow you to notice the same member of staff are surely quite low? If you visit once every few days then that would be a bit odd if you never saw the same member of staff working.

I must confess that being served by the same member of staff is only something that I tend to notice at shops I frequent at least once a week or at very small shops (corner shop type places where it's often members of the same family).

Are you visiting on the same day of the week, and at the same time of day? If the timing of your visits is random then you're not really going to be able to notice any patterns.

Bear in mind that a lot of retailers will employ staff on a fully-flexible basis, which means that even part-timers will be expected to work shifts across the whole range of opening hours and rotas will vary from week to week.

used to enjoy getting their spiced nuts in there but stopped using it after the lady in there asked me what it’s like to work on the railways every time I went in like it was the first time she’d seen me. Became a bit annoying in the end.
