Where do you get that from? 7x142s are replacing 3x180s and 8x150s are replacing 4x156s so the changes will affect the FNW area mostly and could if anything see more 150s in Sheffield opposed to Pacers.

However, I don't see Old Hill Bank can complain as Northern Rail have 82 Pacers (inferior to 150s) and 41 150s, which will increase to 89 Pacers and 49 150s as other operators get new trains to allow the oldest ones to be sent to Northern Rail.

Spend two to three hours on a Merseytravel 142 with very cramped seating and excruaiting noise on every sharp bend and see if you still say that.

I too have been "Sea Sick" travelling on Pacers, Nodding Donkeys or whatever people want to call the poxy things!!!!!!

Perhaps whoever now will "micro manage" rolling stock investment should (on a hot day) be made to commute to work on a Poxy Pacer and fell dizzy and nausious all day and go home on a short formed LM 150 (travelling sauna) diagram

I saw a Network West Midlands Blue liveried 150 on wednesday at Harringay Green Lanes station i must admit it was a bit odd though.
