Network Railcard restriction this week on FGW?

[jednick]

Given the fact FGW are lifting peak / off-peak restrictions all this week Monday 29th to Friday 2nd Given the fact FGW are lifting peak / off-peak restrictions all this week Monday 29th to Friday 2nd January....

Do I assume that I can use my Network Railcard with FGW before 10 a.m.?
Normally I have to wait until 10 a.m. to use it on a weekday (and then spend at least £15) but this week FGW are letting me buy off-peak tickets from the start of the morning, so can I use my Network Railcard any time of the morning with FGW this coming week?

There is no relaxation of the 10am rule for Network Card holders. So travel is permitted before 10am only on New Year's Day and the weekend.

Ask the FGW Twitter bods. I thought we were treating every day like a Saturday, but I'm at home so don't have the memo to hand.

National Rail Enquiries seems to suggest the Railcard restriction is still in place.

They've circumvented this problem by not being able to run any trains before 10am

FCC allowed it a fees years ago but in the later years seemed to have stopped it
