Hi. I'm going to be staying at the training centre in Peterborough in the new year for 9 weeks. I was just wondering who they use to provide the accommodation and what is it like. Thank you.

Hi, I'm guessing your doing signaller training?

I believe you'll just be put into a hotel.
Most probably the Park inn.

It is signaller training for 9 weeks I believe. I was just wondering what standard of hotel is be in. I thought it would be a travel lodge or premier Inn or something like that
What happens about the food. Is there a allowance given our is it provided for us?

If you're in the Park inn then it's a really nice hotel. But they could put you anywhere to be honest.

You have a £30 a day allowance to be spent on food/drink in the hotel, which is usually more than enough.

You also get free breakfast in the hotel and lunch provided in the training centre.

Hope this helps.
