Network Rail Performance and Reporting Assistant Interview Questions

Hi all

I have been invited for an interview following my recent application for Performance and Reporting Assistant with Network Rail , the interview is competency based with safety and technical questions - I just wondered if anyone had any ideas what sort of questions I might expect at the interview and what would be the actual work be like? The role is under the Eastern Region Commercial Team and I understand this would likely to be an entry level post.

I did some research which suggested they expect to see a good understanding of NR's safety rules/visions/campaigns , but any other ideas about what else they could ask in terms of competencies would be greatly appreciated.

They will ask you:

* motivational fit - why you want the job and what can you bring.
* safety question - bare in mind it’s not all about physical safety
* Equity, Diversity and inclusion

Those 3 questions always get asked.

Be prepared for a criteria based interview with questions based on ‘came you give an example when you….’

Same here, hope they are just taking their time to review the results

my interview included motivational questions, safety related ones and DEI questions, and also questions directly related to the job requirements
