I've been offered a position at network rail as a signaller. I've got the forms to fill out but I'm just wondering if any network rail employees on here can help me with what the best pension options.
I see there are 3 options but what choices did people make.

I'd guess the one option of RPS65 won't be available to new starters. That's the final salary scheme which you will have a once only option to join after 5 years service. Of the other two, it depends on so many different factors and your own circumstances.

I did see the info about the final salary option but I'm not sure which one to take. I can see the benefits of both of the others.

Unless you're currently a member of the RPS in another section of the scheme and transfer your contributions you can't join NRs section until you have been in either of the other schemes (NRDC or CARE) for 5 years.
