Hi all. Am considering applying for a HGV driver role with Network Rail however I can’t find any of the usual indeed/glassdoor reviews or forum/reddit posts about working there specifically as a HGV driver.
Does anyone know what they’re like to work for as a driver? I’m assuming they work a lot of nights and weekends delivering equipment and materials on flatbeds ahead of lineside engineering work within a radius of their base and are trained in Hiab and forklifts for offloading.
Can anyone help shed some light what kinds of shifts/hours they work and any other bits to the job beyond driving and loading/unloading the truck?
Thanks in advance
