One of the Network Rail class 153 units is running around East Kent this afternoon.

I thought there was generally a ban on longer (23m) stock between Margate and Ramsgate (and possibly at Dover as well). Does anyone know if this is still the case, or is it operating under special conditions?

Just saw it pass through Whitstable. Might be the first time I've seen any non-MPV DMU pass through my neck of the woods!
