I visited the North East Transport Trust Collection at the North East Land Sea and Air Museum at Sunderland and Beamish to see their trams, would recommend both sites for a visit even for non railway / tramway enthusiasts.
North East Transport Trust Collection: Mainly ex Blackpool trams featuring Centenary 647, Twin Set 674+684, Balloon 708 (owned by Heaton Park Tramway in Manchester) this will be converted back to an open topper in the future and Balloon 721.
